TMP S2-FV Modular System Approach

tmp-52fv-02.jpgThe nature of the TMP-S2-FV system means that the modules can be linked together in different ways to suit a number of applications.
One detector linked to a control unit and remote display can be used as a basic system, for example on soft skinned vehicles. Two detectors, one mounted on either side of the vehicle linked to a control unit and remote display, provides external radiation level data to the crew and gives a directional capability.
A third detector can be added to the system and either mounted inside the crew compartment to provide radiation exposure levels, or mounted on the front or the rear of the vehicle to provide additional data.
The system provides for the option of a control unit linked to a remote display in vehicles where space is at a premium, or a combined control and display unit for use in vehicles where there is sufficient room.

TMP-AP4C-F
The TMP-AP4C-F is a chemical Warfare Agents and Toxic Industrial material detector for fixed sites.

TMP-AP4C-F is a chemical warfare agent detector to be used in a battlefield or urban environment on moving platforms for reconnaissance missions. TMP-AP4C-F detects in real time and simultaneously all category 1 chemical warfare agents and numerous toxic industrial materials.
All nerve agents, blister agents, and blood agents can be detected thus making the TMP-AP4C-F an instrument of safety. TMP-AP4C-F can detect all those agents under vapour, aerosol or liquid form.
TMP-AP4C-F is installed as a fixed alarm system and does not require any other maintenance or human intervention during one year, other than the addition of one litre of water per month.
TMP-AP4C-F has the same capacity of chemical detection and the same specifications as the TMP-AP4C. It is typically installed at the air intake of buildings or critical infrastructures.
Set up procedure, calibration, filter change, purge procedure, and switch off procedure are NOT necessary.
TMP-AP4C-F can be networked with other instruments.
Upon alarm it can trigger the closing of the building ventilation system.

Operating principle

It is based on flame spectrophotometry technology. It operates by in analyzing the light spectrum of a flame of hydrogen. If chemical warfare agents or industrial toxic materials are present in the atmosphere, some specific chemical bonds will emit a characteristic light spectrum that will be recognized by the AP4C optical system.

The TMP-AP4C-V is a chemical agent detector for fixed or mobile applications. It is used to detect Chemical Warfare Agents and Toxic Industrial Chemicals.

The TMP-AP4C-V detects all nerve, all blister and all blood agents.

Operating principle
The TMP-AP4C-V is a flame spectrophotometer. A continuous stream of air is burned into a combustion chamber, which has a constant supply of hydrogen.
A miniaturized spectrophotometer measures the luminous emitting variations of the flame. The electrical signal from the photo sensor is processed in real time by a micro controller board.

TMP-MAB
Biological Alarm Monitor

tmp-52fv-10.jpgIt continuously analyses particles in the atmosphere, and searches for specific chemical signatures of bacteria or toxins such as anthrax, plague, Botox, legionella etc., and gives alarm when the concentration in the air of those suspect particles increases. It allows to trigger a bio sampler to determine the pathogenic characteristics of the detected particles.

TMP-MAB immediately detects any evolution regarding to the atmospheric background and gives an alarm as soon as the measured biological characteristics exceed an adjustable threshold.
TMP-MAB works on a continuous basis and in real time.
Response time is some seconds.
It has a very low power consumption (some watts) and a reduced sound level.

TMP-MAB can be used by untrained people and is especially adapted to the harshness of a military use (fast startup, reliability, environmental resistance, continuous running for several days). It has already been selected by several military forces and equips several NBC reconnaissance vehicles, as it is unsensitive to diesel vapors and smokes.
