TMP-3.2E - Chemical Detector

TMP-3.2E represents a new generation of sophisticated detectors for war chemical agents, small and light , that will revolutionize  the individual protection of the twentyfirst century soldier. TMP-3.2E contains a non-radioactive source, its volume is smaller than 492 cm3 and weights less than  0,45 kg. mainly used as a personal non-intrusive detector,  TMP-3.2E continuously detects samples of air  for traces of nirvin agents, vesicants, tossic chemicals, haematochemicals or suffocating, allowing the operator to take appropriate measures. If used in control mode, the device has the  the ability to examine the cargo,equipment, facilities or personnel. The device can also be used on mobile or fixed platforms, including vehicles, ships, aircrafts and installations on fixed location.

Equipped with an audible and/or visual alarm, il device incorporate a LED display mounted on the above indicating the status of service and showing visual alarms (if worn) and a bar of indication on its front indicates the concentration levels. In case o fan attack, the device has the ability to prompt recovery with a fast reset time.

As part of its development phase, the detector is successfully undergone testing by the British Ministry of Defence (MoD) and the US Department of Defence (DoD), and was originally designed to meet the requirements of the British MoD “Lightweight Chemical Agent Detector”, LCAD. Numerous and extensive tests show that TMP-3.2 offers the highest performance level than any other detector of its type. Consequently, it remains the only participant in the testing program of the US DoD, JCAD Increment 1.

TMP-3.2E is easy to use, highly reliable and maintainable. Maintenance is minimal, fast and low cost, the only consumable materials are the commercial AA batteries and the molecular filtering pack; both are field replaceable by the operator in less than 2 minutes, even when wearing the individual protective equipment.
Once put into the planning the detector does not require calibration, lubrification or other routine maintenance.
Various accessories are available to further increase the capacity of TMP-3.2E.

  • Three operating modes:
    • CW: for the detection of war chimical agents
    • TIC: for the detection of industrial toxic chemicals
    • Survey: for the detection of residual contamination remaining after decontamination
  • Detects, identifies, measures and informs the staff on the presence chemicals agents threats at lower levels than concentration of attack.
  • The secondary display shows the concentration in bar format and includes indicators of cumulative dose.
  • The device is equipped with transport handbag that allows for handfree operation. The handbag can be hooked on clothing, belt or belts.
  • The device can be equipe with a nozzle of exploration for investigation of cargo, personnel clothing,
  • etc.
  • The data recording catalogs up to 72 hours of mission data.
  • The USB or RS485 connectibilityprotocols allows for post mission analisis.
